PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal capable of taking a proper operating state for imaging even when the portable communication terminal takes an opening state or a closed state. SOLUTION: A lower casing and an upper casing are hinged in a way that the portable communication terminal can respectively take an expanded state or a folded state. The portable communication terminal is provided with: a main LCD 8 that can be viewed only in the expanded state; and a sub LCD 9 that can be viewed in both the expanded state and the folded state. A display control section 3a of a base band section 3 discriminates whether the portable communication terminal is in the expanded state or the folded state on the basis of a result of detection by an opening / closing sensor 18. When imaging by a camera section 104, the display control section 3a allows both the main LCD 8 and the sub LCD 9 to display the image by the camera section 104 when the portable communication terminal is in the expanded state, or the display control section 3a allows only the sub LCD 9 to display the image by the camera section 104 when the portable communication terminal is in the folded state.
