PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in size a semiconductor laser device by facilitating condensing of laser beams from a plurality of semiconductor laser elements. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser device includes a heat sink 6 formed with a plurality of stepwise surfaces 5a, 5b and 5c, a plurality of rod lenses 8a, 8b and 8c individually opposed to a plurality of semiconductor laser elements 2a, 2b and 2c provided on the respective stepwise surfaces, and a plurality of rod lenses 11a, 11b and 11c for condensing laser beams 14a, 14b and 14c passed through the first rod lens in a direction perpendicular to the first rod lens.
