PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine carrying a one-chip microcomputer for controlling which achieves a difficulty in reading of built-in programs from outside and further in the fraudulent preparation of microcomputers. SOLUTION: A security checking circuit 550, an inspection mode recognition circuit 501, an input/output buffer control circuit 502 and input/output buffers 503 and 504 are built into a microcomputer 56 for controlling games along with basic constitutional components of a CPU core 561, a ROM 541, a RAM 542 and the like. Moreover, a resetting circuit 562, I/O ports 571 to 57n and an address decoding circuit 568 are built in. The inspection mode recognition circuit 501 enables outputting of the data on address buses and data buses when inspection codes from an inspecting device 500 are normal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
