PURPOSE: To prevent the error of correction amount in each injection per one combustion by multistage injection, by discriminating the individual difference of injectors, the variation of injection quantities among cylinders, and the increase of injection quantity requested by an engine caused by the deterioration with lapse of time of the injector and the load of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A final learned value(Q1/K or Q1/N) is calculated on the basis of the difference in injection quantities of Qb and Qc, when the sum of ISC correction amount and FCCB correction amount is Qb when the number of times of injections per one combustion in multistage injection in an idle stabilized state is K, and the sum of ISC correction amount and FCCB correction amount is Qc when the number of times of injection per one combustion in the multistage injection in the same idle stabilized condition is N. Whereby the individual difference of the injectors, the variation of injection quantities among the cylinders, and the increase of the injection quantity requested by the engine caused by the deterioration with lapse of time of the injectors and the engine load can be discriminated on the basis of the ISC correction and the FCCB correction.
