PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cell composition for treating a human body or an animal.

SOLUTION: A method for producing a medicament for treating cancer or tumor in the human or animal body comprises a step for preparing a composition containing cells expressing a gene enabling one or a plurality of biologically active substances as capable of being secreted in the body. The biologically active substances are selected from the group consisting of interleukin, TNF,γ-interferon and GM-CSF, and the cells are at least partially allogenic or xenogenic to the living body to be treated and act by cooperation with a carrier which is permissible pharmacologically.
