<p>The pipe-connecting element (4) , joining two pipes(2,3) flush with one another, consists of a sleeve-shaped basic body (5) whose diameter matches the inner diameter (7) at least of the pipe. One end of the pipe-connecting element has a seal (16) covering the outward-pointing shoulder (13) on one end (12) of the basic body. The seal has an inward-leading groove (18) running round at least part of the periphery. The groove holds the ends of the shoulder of a pipe-connecting element or the shoulders of two pipe-connecting elements .</p> |
