PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an improved process window unit which can be airtightly fitted in a container or a conduit on one hand and be speedily mounted and removed for the purpose of cleaning and monitoring on the other. SOLUTION: The process window unit 1 is constituted of a window frame 11 for holding a window 2; a screw cylinder 12 provided with a radiant passage in a core; and a male screw 7 for screwing the screw cylinder in the window frame. At this time, in the case of the process window unit 1 for spectroscopically researching a process mixture in the conduit or the container in which the window frame is provided with an elastic seal 3 between a complementary female screw, the window, and screw cylinder, the window is provided with a taper tapered into a conical shape with distance from the cylinder.
