PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a start time of an operating system (OS) without altering the OS itself of a personal computer main body. SOLUTION: In starting the personal computer by using OS data stored in a data storage device of a random access regime which uses a hard disk, a CD-ROM, and a DVD-ROM, it is possible to accelerate a starting speed of the personal computer by reconstructing the OS data stored in the data storage medium in advance into a data array in which a read-out speed is faster, storing them in the data storage device or an additional unit, and performing starting processing by using the OS data constructed beforehand.
