PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which has electrical conductivity, has a small dimensional change when absorbing water, and is excellent in a balance between flowability and impact resistance, a method for producing it, and a cap for fuel tanks obtained by using the thermoplastic resin composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises following components (A)∼(D), wherein the weight ratio ((A)/(B)) of component (A) to component (B) being 5/95-70/30, the amount of component (C) being 1-20 pts.wt. against 100 pts.wt. of the sum of component (A) and component (B), the amount of component (D) being 1-5 pts.wt. against 100 pts.wt. of the sum of component (A) and component (B), and further the method of producing the thermoplastic resin composition and the cap obtained by using the thermoplastic resin composition are provided. In the components, (A) is a polyolefin resin component, (B) is a polyamide resin component, (C) is an electrically conductive carbon black component, and (D) is a terpene phenol resin component.
