PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of preventing the generation of pulsation and noise even when a shaft is deflected by the application of radial tension and the like to the shaft. SOLUTION: This vane pump comprises a cam ring 3 incorporated in a body 1, a rotor 4 rotatably incorporated in the cam ring 3, a plurality of vanes mounted around the rotor 4 in a state of coming in and out, the shaft 9 connected to the rotor 4 at its one side, and linked with a driving source at the other side, and a bearing member 7 for rotatably supporting the shaft 9. A radial clearance W1 is formed on a connecting part of the shaft 9 and the rotor 4, the clearance W1 is larger than a radial clearance W2 of a supporting part of the shaft 9 in the bearing member 7, and the radial movement of the shaft 9 to the rotor 4 is permitted by the radial clearance W1 of the connecting part of the shaft 9 and the rotor 4, when the radial eccentric load is input to the shaft 9.
