PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform correction for compensating inclination of recording in a recorder. SOLUTION: The recorder for recording an image by carrying an article being recorded in the subscanning direction while moving a recording head, having a plurality of ejection openings arranged in the carrying direction of the article being recorded, in the main scanning direction is provided with a section 430 for correcting the starting position of recording in the main scanning direction depending on the carrying amount of the article being recorded in order to compensate the shift of the starting position of recording caused by the plurality of ejection openings.
