<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication apparatus to which an external information processing terminal is connectable that prevents stored and not outputted image data from being accidentally deleted by an instruction from the information processing terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A facsimile MPU 101 discriminates whether image data are printed by a printer 2, or communicated by a communication section 104 or in standby state for them when receiving the instruction of deletion of the image data stored in the image memory area of a RAM 103 from the information processing terminal 109, and inhibits the deletion of the image data when the discrimination indicates any of the cases above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
