PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oven dryer of a cord processing machine effective for improving the productivity of the cord processing step by minimizing the heat discharged with the cord and suppressing the tar contamination in the case of suppressing the concentration of the evaporated solvent below a prescribed level by dilution in the oven in which a wound cord is dipped in a treating liquid and dried with hot air. SOLUTION: The oven dryer is provided with one or more of drying ovens R1-R4 to wind a dipped cord on a roll shaft and dry with hot air, exhaustion means H1-H4 having variable quantity of the exhaust gas containing the evaporated gas, air-supplying means K1-K4 having variable air-supplying quantity compensating the exhaustion and enabling the control of the supplied air temperature to control the temperature-controlling heat amount, and a controlling means 9 to minimize the exhaustion rate of the exhaustion means according to the cord-processing description and controlling the temperature of each drying oven by controlling the air temperature by the air-supplying means under the corresponding air-supplying rate.
