PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing transient development of irritation in a cosmetic comprising a bleaching material. SOLUTION: The cosmetic for bleaching comprises (1) the bleaching material and (2) an antimicrobial phospholipid. Ascorbic acid, an ascorbic acid derivative such as an ascorbic phosphate or an ascorbic acid glucoside, glycosides of hydroquinones such as hydroquinone glucoside, tranexamic acids such as tranexamic acid or a tranexamic acid ester, phenolic compounds such as ferulic acid, isoferulic acid or kojic acid and physiologically acceptable salts thereof can preferably be exemplified. Sodium coco PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, or the like, can preferably be exemplified as the antimicrobial phospholipid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
