PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid problems wherein a driving hook is removed to damage a starter device or restarting is made to be impossible, by improving an accumulator starter device interposing a shock-absorbing/accumulating mechanism portion in a midpoint of a drive line between a drive portion and a follower portion. SOLUTION: The accumulator starter device interposes the shock-absorbing/accumulating mechanism portion in the midpoint of the drive line between the drive portion and the follower portion. A ratchet mechanism portion having the driving hook and a follower protrusion as the drive line between an accumulating spring mechanism portion and the follower portion is provided so as to dispose the driving hook of the ratchet mechanism portion in the accumulating spring mechanism portion side and dispose the follower protrusion of the ratchet mechanism portion in the follower portion side. An engaging/disengaging mechanism portion such as a retainer device with friction is provided on the ratchet mechanism, which shows a state that the driving hook is projected out to engage with the follower protrusion in the follower portion side at the time of rope pulling out operation, and shows a state that the driving hook is disengaged to be stored at the time of rope returning operation.
