PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive blasting method executable at a relatively low cost without having the fear of environmental contamination. SOLUTION: This abrasive blasting method is characterized by performing blasting by injecting an abrasive material consisting of coal ash or charcoal ash having a prescribed grain size toward an object to be treated at a prescribed pressure. This method is further characterized by performing blasting by injecting an abrasive material containing coal ash or charcoal ash having a prescribed grain size toward an object to be treated at a prescribed pressure. The grain size of the abrasive material is 10μm-25mm, and the blowout pressure of the abrasive material is 1 atm or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
