FIELD: automatization of manufacturing processes needing preset relation of revolution numbers of drive shafts (in rolling mills, paper making machines and so on). SUBSTANCE: method is realized due to monitoring instantaneous values of error angle being angle between position detected by means of speed pickup and actual position of shaft; predicting value of said angle for end period of next time interval. As predicted value of such angle during given time interval exceeds admissible value, results of predicting values of error angle, of revolution number of shaft, acceleration of shaft at time moment of beginning of correction pulse at end of predicted period with less duration t is fed to inlet of main processor. As t1 is less than t, revolution number of shaft is corrected until time moment when error angle exceeds admissible value. Periodical time periods for fixing instantaneous values of error angles, quantity of values of error angles, of position pulses for determining current values of revolution number and of acceleration of shaft, processes for extrapolation in respective prediction units depend upon concrete manufacturing conditions and software.
