A vehicle (1) has a supporting arm (2) and an orientation module (3) which direct aligned infra red and video cameras (4,5). The cameras gather synchronized visual and thermal information which is combined with localization data from a GPS system (6) and continuously recorded. The information is also presented to an operator (11) for immediate action via two screens (8,9).
