The invention relates to an administration device for administering an injectable product. Said device comprises a housing containing a reservoir f or the product, a plunger that is located in the reservoir so that it can be displaced in a feed direction, a plunger rod that can be displaced in the fe ed direction and that acts on the plunger and a locking mechanism that prevents the displacement of the plunger rod against the feed direction. The locking mechanism comprises or consists of a first locking device, formed by the plunger rod and a second locking device that cannot be displaced in relation to the housing against the feed direction, said two devices being permanentl y engaged with one another.
