<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for ingesting and using a flavorful fat and oil composition having improving effects on the physiological status, such as inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol and lowering the concentration of cholesterol, which contains lecithin for controlling the amount of lipid in the blood and a plant sterol, in particular a sterol fatty acid ester, for inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol. <P>SOLUTION: The fat and oil composition contains lecithin of ≥5 wt% and the plant sterol of ≥1 wt%. Foods, feeds, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics containing this fat and oil composition or this fat and oil composition as it is are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
