PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a user in making a decision on procurement of components, an end of sales of an old product or the like at optimum timing, and to suppress loss on disposal of the components or old product, appraisal loss or the like caused by a delay in decision making.

SOLUTION: The demand and supply determining device calculates a point of time tracking back for a lead time of a predetermined component used in the old product from a starting point of production of a new product in regard to each of one or a plurality of old products of the same type as the new product that have been sold prior to the starting point of production, and it determines a balance of demand and supply of the predetermined components at the calculated point of time. The demand and supply determining device controls a CRT 209 so as to display a picture corresponding to a determination result.
