PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample photographing apparatus which exactly and quickly photographs a sample set on a sample showing table in a suitable scene formation according to the size and the position of the sampleto result in a smooth presentation. SOLUTION: The apparatus executes a sample showing table photographing process for photographing a sample showing table 10 by a camera 30, based on position information of two light spots 40 being reference points; and a sample photographing process for photographing a sample S after the camera 30 recognizes the size of the sample, based on the position information of the sample S set on the table 10.
