PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone with a measurement function for biological information which can be incorporated in a structure of a health/medical system. SOLUTION: A transmission mode is set correspondingly to a service required by a user. When an urgent service is required, the biological information is transmitted to a service provider by a first transmission mode., which is for a speech through a cellular phone network. In the case of transmitting the biological information for obtaining diagnosis from stored data, the biological information is transmitted by a second mode through a packet exchange network. In the case of short distance communication like between a sick person at home and a nurse, the biological information is transmitted by a third mode without through a network by using a private interface such as an infrared interface, a radio interface.
