PURPOSE: To grasp the current temperature state of a cooking oil relative to a set temperature and easily know the timing of completion of the cooking in progress and the expected timing of starting the next cooking. CONSTITUTION: The state of the detected oil temperature relative to the set temperature is displayed in a large size in a display part 20, and therefore, whether the current oil temperature is suitable for the cooking or not can be confirmed at a look, so that the fryer is easy to use. Further, as the difference in temperature between the detected oil temperature and the set temperature(340°F) is displayed as well, the stand-by time for starting the next cooking can be easily estimated, so that the fryer is further convenient.
