TD-SCDMA BASE STATION USING PATHLOSS AIDED CLOSED LOOP POWER CONTROL

PURPOSE: A TD-SCDMA(Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) base station using pathloss aided closed loop power control is provided to control a transmission power level. CONSTITUTION: A reference signal power measuring device(34) measures a received power level of a reference signal. A pathloss determining device(32) compares the measured reference signal received power level with a transmission power level of the reference signal, and generates a pathloss estimation value of the reference signal. A transmit power control determining device(28) determines a change level of the transmission power level using the pathloss estimation value, and determines the adjustment of the transmission power level by the determined change level in response to a transmission power command.
