PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis display device which can be driven at low driving voltage. SOLUTION: A charged particle 3 in a liquid is moved by applying voltage between a first electrode 4 and a second electrode 5. Since the first electrode 4 is disposed in a position corresponding to the lattice point of a rhombic lattice, driving voltage needed for moving the charged particle 3 can be lowered.
