PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing electroconductive polymer fine particles, capable of producing spherical fine particles of which particle diameters are uniform, by an extremely simple producing process, and capable of controlling the particle diameters thereof, and to provide the electroconductive polymer fine particles produced by using the method. SOLUTION: This method for producing the electroconductive polymer fine particles comprises subjecting at least one kind of monomer to electrolytic polymerization in a solution containing such an anion as more lyophilic than nitrate ion, wherein the monomer is selected from an N-alkylaniline and its derivative, an N-alkylpyrrole and its derivative, and an 3-alkylthiophene and its derivative. At least one of the monomer selected from the N-alkylaniline, the N-alkylpyrrole, and the 3-alkylthiophene is preferably subjected to the electrolytic polymerization in the solution.
