PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water supply method for a disposer which is made easy to be used in combination with a water cleaner by making valve installation in a middle of a water supply pipe unnecessary and also making a water supply pipe and a faucet metal fitting externally for the disposer no need and simplifying the water supply pipe and which can be operated manually by an operation lever any time, and to provide an apparatus for automatically supplying water for the disposer. SOLUTION: A single lever type faucet body 5 is installed in a water supply pipe 6 connected to a disposer body 1 and an operation lever operating means 8 for operating an operation lever 7 of the single lever type faucet body 5 in the direction of starting water supply and in the direction of stopping water supply in interlock with starting operation and stopping operation of the disposer body 1 by operation of a driving switch 4 of the disposer body 1 is installed in the single lever type faucet body 5.
