<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector having a reflection ratio necessary for back light of brightness and of high reliability and light fastness. <P>SOLUTION: A light diffusion layer (B) is formed on a polymer film (A). When the layer (A), layer (B), an underlying layer (C), a reflective layer (D) mainly containing silver, and a protective layer (E) are laminated in turn, (1) the reflective layer (D) is subjected to vacuum vapor deposition under a pressure of 13.3 mPa or below, or (2) the layer (D) is subjected to spatter deposition under a pressure of 20 mPs or below, preferably 7-0.1 mPa, to obtain the reflector.
