PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor bolt capable of securing a sufficient covering length in the case that it is embedded in a concrete structure and having a well-balanced resistance against a tension in the whole outer peripheral expanded part of the lower end of the shaft and imparting a workable property. SOLUTION: The anchor bolt 1 is used for embedding in a concrete structure 5 such as a concrete foundation. A male screw 3 is provided at the outer periphery at one longitudinal end of the shaft 2 constituting the main body of the anchor bolt 1 and an expanded part 4 integral to the shaft 2 is formed at the longitudinal other end of the shaft. The outer periphery of the whole or the substantially whole of the expanded part 4 is overhung outward from the outer peripheral face of the shaft 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
