<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an optical fiber cable which realizes a sufficient flexibility and a low surface friction for easily laying the cable structure in a duct and which gives an enough protection to a optical fiber cable which transmits a signal and to provide a method of laying the optical fiber cable. <P>SOLUTION: The structure (10) of the optical fiber cable has a hollow tube (12). The tube (12) is composed of a soft resin of which the elastic modulus is 200,000 psi or smaller at 25°C, and an inorganic filler is filled up in the soft resin in order to reduce the surface friction of the exterior surface of the tube (12). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
