PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of eliminating the labor on a user of an information use side terminal at the time of making a contract or executing any operation. SOLUTION: In this information providing system which is provided with an information provision side device 10 and an information use side terminal 20 for transmitting and receiving information through a radio communication network, the information use side terminal automatically ensures connection to an information provision side device in an information providing area 11 where it exists, and receives the provision of information from the information provision side device in the information providing region. Also, each information provision side device may be provided with an area connecting means 12 for starting its connection to an information use side terminal newly entering its own information providing area and an area terminal managing means 13 for continuing its connection to the information use side terminal existing in its own information providing region. Each information use side terminal is provided with an area management means 21 for ensuring its connection to the information provision side device in the information providing area where the terminal itself exists, and for receiving the provision of information from the information providing side device.
