RECORDING SYSTEM AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A recording system and a controlling method thereof are provided to record image data from an image supplying device of each company by performing transmission and recording command of the image data without depending on an interface. CONSTITUTION: The image data is transmitted to the PD(Photo Direct) printer(1000) from the DSC(Digital Still Camera)(3102). The data is printed wherein a communication procedure is established by applications installed into the PD printer and the DSC. Each of the functions serving as the printing system is assigned to the DSC and the PD printer. The data and the command are transmitted between functions assigned to the DSC and the PD printer. Recording is performed by the PD printer based on the image data supplied from the DSC.
