PURPOSE: A disk drive for reducing a noise is provided to reduce a turbulence speed of a free flow layer at a lower part of an air guide plate, thereby reducing a noise going out to a front part of a disk drive. CONSTITUTION: An air guide plate(200) is installed between a top surface of a disk tray(110) and an upper cover plate of a disk drive in parallel with the disk tray, so that the air guide plate divides a rotating turbulence(180) generated by a rotating disk(160) into two parts, that is, the rotating turbulence generated under the air guide plate, and the turbulence controlled over the air guide plate. The rotating turbulence under the air guide plate has an area A which is a boundary layer around a top surface of the disk, another area C which is a boundary layer around a bottom surface of the air guide plate, and the other area B which is a free flow layer, wherein the area B is very narrow or disappeared.
