<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply integrated circuit (IC) comprising distributed gate drivers and a high voltage output unit. <P>SOLUTION: A gate driver logic circuit 22 provides a signal to a node 21 and an output transistor 29 is switched. The circuit 22 comprises an ordinary logic circuit generating a digital pulse signal (e.g. a pulse width modulation signal) for controlling the switching operation of the transistor 29. The node 21 is the input node of a gate driver comprising a PMOS transistor 26 and an NMOS transistor 27 shown in Fig. while being connected in series between a V<SB>DD</SB>supply line 30 and a V<SB>SS</SB>supply line 20.
