<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter-based ablation system which has two energy sources and is available for treating clinical adaption caused by arrhythmic. <P>SOLUTION: A single generator apparatus has a high-frequency catheter 12, an ultrasonic catheter 14, and an ablation generator 16 in which a high-frequency generator and an ultrasonic generator are coupled.
