PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a lithographic printing forme used for an original forme for the lithographic printing forme which is excellent in balance of sensitivity, ink-filling-in resistance (stain resistance), plate wear, easy adjustment of dampening and hardly suffers a dot-like developmentdefect. SOLUTION: A wave-like structure in which a mean roughness of the surface is 0.3-1μm, and at least 6 pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>recessed parts with the maximum grain depth of≥2.5μm exist on the surface, and a ratio of the recessed parts with a bottom width of≥1μm is≥90% among the recessed parts with the maximum grain depth of≥2.5μm, is provided.
