<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bamboo tray and a method for manufacturing the bamboo tray in which a bamboo material is machined into plates of a prescribed thickness and a prescribed width by a machine, the bamboo plates are affixed across each other longitudinally and transversely using an adhesive, the bamboo plates are boiled with steam and pressed and molded while being heated at 100-120°C. <P>SOLUTION: Bamboo plate stocks of raw bamboo are boiled under pressure in a pressure vessel to soften the raw bamboo, and peeled to the bamboo plates of a prescribed thickness and a prescribed width by a peeling machine in Fig. 1 (3). The bamboo plates are humidified, and pressed and molded under a high pressure by a press while being heated at a high temperature of 100-120°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
