PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which can prevent problems such as a decrease in the toner carrying power of a supply member, an increase in the hardness of the supply member, etc., as a foaming body of the supply member is clogged with paper powder etc. entering the developing device when used toner is reused. SOLUTION: The developing device which has a developer carrier and the supply member supplying a developer to the developer carrier and reuses the used developer uses a continuously air bubble foaming body of≥0.5 mm in mean cell diameter,≥70 % in continuous foaming rate, and≤90°in Asker F hardness as the supply member to smoothly discharge toners from the supply member.
