PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which prevents the leakage of liquid from leg portions of an infant. SOLUTION: On both sides in the lengthwise direction on a top sheet side of the diaper, inner sheets 18 and 18' each provided successively to a back sheet 14 are located so that inner edges of the inner sheets in the lengthwise direction are each located inside both side edges of an absorber 16 in the lengthwise direction. Each of the inner sheets is composed of a laminate of a nonwoven fabric and a film, and the nonwoven fabric is located to be positioned on a surface of the diaper which is abutted to the skin. The back sheet 14 is composed of a laminate of a nonwoven fabric and a film, and the nonwoven fabric is located to be positioned on a surface of the diaper which is not abutted to the skin.
