PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel means capable of inexpensively and efficiently taking out a component once received in a carrier tape from the carrier tape. SOLUTION: A taping device 100 is equipped with a peeling unit 140 above the upstream of a guide table 106. The peeling unit 140 is provided with a peeling blade 141 placed in the vicinity of the upstream end of the guide table 106, and guide rollers 142 and 143 for guiding a peeled cover tape TT are provided above the blade 141. A take-up reel 144 for taking up the cover tape TT is also provided. Either the normal operation mode for taping and the reverse operation mode for collecting components is selected and carried out depending on the operation by an operator on an operation panel 151.
