PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko game machine capable of easily determining whether the number of game balls shot to a game zone during a prescribed period of time has exceeded a prescribed number or not, and capable of executing the determination precisely and efficiently. SOLUTION: The pachinko game machine comprises a game board 3, a shooting device 81 for shooting a game ball toward the game zone 6 of the game board 3 according to the shooting operation by a player, a shot ball detecting means 130 for detecting the game ball shot to the game zone 6, a shot ball counting means for counting the number of shot balls, a first timer means for timing a prescribed first determination time, an abnormality determining means for determining an abnormality when the number of shot balls during the first determination time is a predetermined number or larger, an abnormality informing means for informing the abnormal state when the abnormality is determined by the abnormality determining means, a shot ball monitoring means for monitoring whether game balls are continuously shot or not, and an initialization means for initializing the first timer means and the shot ball number counting means when it is determined that game balls are not continuously shot.
