PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissecting table, a chair apparatus, a system for dissection, and a method for preventing diffusion of a harmful gas for securing worker's safety and health in dissection work by preventing the diffusion of harmful gas evolving from a body for dissection. SOLUTION: The dissecting table 1 is provided with cover members 3a and 3b capable of covering a processing part 31 for performing dissection essentially in a sealed state. The cover members 3a and 3b can be folded and housed during dissection. Internal air covered with the cover members 3a and 3b is cleaned with an air cleaning apparatus 4 while being circulated. The chair apparatus B is provided with: a chair 20; an installation table 10 for placing a book, or the like, thereon; a support part 30 for supporting the installation table 10; and a linking part 40 for indirectly linking the chair 20 and the installation table 10 to adjust the distance between the chair 20 and the installation table 10.
