The moment control system includes an instruction moment calculating unit, an injection quantity calculation unit and an ignition order calculation unit. The ignition order calculation unit calculates the ignition order based on an instruction moment in predetermined timing for calculating an ignition order after the timing for calculating the injection quantity. The ignition order calculation unit calculates the ignition order based on past instruction moments that were calculated before the calculation of an instruction moment used for the timing for calculating the ignition order. The stability of the moment control has priority when the ignition order is calculated during a driving process in a stability modus. An independent claim is also provided for a moment control system for combustion engine having a sequential control unit.
