1294481 Ultra low volume liquid pesticidal compositions PHILIPS' GLOELAMPENFABRIEKEN NV 24 Dec 1969 [25 Dec 1968 7 June 1969 14 Nov 1969] 62851/69 Heading A5E A single phase liquid pesticidal ultra low volume preparation comprises a pesticide dissolved in isophorone, hexamethyl phosphoric acid triamide, dimethyl formamide or mixtures thereof and, as a phytotoxicity-reducing substance, a vegetable or animal wax and/or waxlike hydrolysis product thereof, and optionally a non-phytotoxic diluent. The pesticide may be carbaryl, endosulfan, carbofuran, methoxychlor, DDT, lindane, dimethoate, dieldrin, endrin, tetradifon, tetrasul or malathion; mixtures thereof and other pesticides also are disclosed. The phytotoxicity-reducing substance may be carnauba wax, candelilla wax, ouricury wax, esparto grass wax, flax wax, sugar-cane wax, beeswax, chinese wax, wool grease, wool fat alcohol, wool fat acid or mixtures thereof. |
