PURPOSE: A method and a system for calculating the intake amount of air of a cylinder and an engine fuel control method and system using the method and system thereof are provided to stably control an engine by properly injecting fuel according to the intake amount of air of the cylinder regardless of the operating speed of a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION: A method for calculating the intake amount of air of a cylinder includes steps of detecting the opening degree of a throttle valve(S505); detecting engine rpm(revolution per minute,S510); detecting the intake amount of air of an intake manifold; calculating a delay time from a point of fuel injection time to a predetermined desired point of time(S515); calculating a predicted value of the opening degree of the throttle valve after the delay time passes(S520); calculating a predicted value of the intake amount of air in the intake manifold after the delay time passes(S530); calculating a predicted value of the intake manifold pressure after the delay time passes(S540); and calculating a predicted value of the intake amount of air in the cylinder after the delay time passes, on the basis of the predicted value of the intake manifold pressure(S550).
