<p>Electrolytic deposition is carried out with parts of the object covered by a mask, both in strip form and moved through the cell at the same speed, the mask reducing electrolytic effect on the masked sections. Pref. the mask is in the form of continuous belt. Method is particularly suited for coating with gold electrical contacts and eliminates disadvantages of painting or spraying.</p> |
