A shape memory alloy wire obtained by cold drawing of a shape memory alloy of martensite phase wherein an austenite phase and a martensite phase alternate via phase transformation temperature characterized in that the diameter thereof is 60 μm or less and the reverse transformation termination temperature is at least 250ºC. The use of this alloy wire enables easily obtaining a composite material having the alloy wire buried in a resin whose molding temperature is as high as 180ºC, such as a glass fiber reinforced resin or a carbon fiber reinforced resin, without fixing of both wire ends.
|
