The sample strip is obtained by injecting the plastic material, and comprises at least one panel carrying at least two of the following evaluation elements: a) shrinkage evaluator, b) pinhole evaluator, c) replication evaluation possibilities of a given pattern, d) elements for evaluating the transparency or appearance of the material via a zone of varying thickness (50), e) elements for evaluating mould release capacity, f) elements for evaluating the capacity of the material to flow round an obstacle in the mould and to re-weld behind the obstacle, so as to group together on one single sample strip (1) the chief evaluation criteria of the plastic material.
