An Independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the process comprising a unit for heating the coating material, and a unit for heating the material to above room temperature. Preferred Features: The coating material is applied by welding to the workpiece. The coating material is heated to at least 100, preferably at least 250 degrees C. |
